- Air802 v. Amazon.com, Inc. (W.D. Wash.): Representing a wireless technology manufacturer in a trademark infringement action involving counterfeiting claims.
- DataPro International v. Cablesbay (W.D. Wash.): Representing a video and computer cables manufacturer in an infringement action involving its website copyrights.
- Legacy Productions Limited v. U2 Home Entertainment (W.D. Wash.): Represented a New Zealand film producer and copyright owner in a copyright infringement action involving unauthorized importation and distribution of a film and various claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Our services also include copyright and trademark registration, counseling, licensing, and ownership transfers. John E. Grant graduated with honors from Lewis & Clark Law School where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Lewis and Clark Law Review and a teaching assistant to the legal writing program. Prior to law school, John spent nearly 10 years in business, including 7 years with Getty Images, an industry leader in the visual content business. He also spent time with Microsoft, and he performed consulting work for several content licensing startups.

Eric S. Meltzer graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School, where he held a Public Interest Law Fellowship. Prior to law school, Eric specialized in complex research for organizations such as Microsoft, the University of Washington, and the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife. Following his graduation from law school, Eric practiced international environmental law as a Law Fellow with the Institute for Governance & Sustainable Development in Washington, D.C., where he concentrated in government affairs, climate change law and carbon finance. Eric has significant international business experience, having worked and studied in places such as China, Mexico, Qatar, Slovakia, and France.
